Oxxius named finalist at the Trophées Bretagne du MOCI 2026
Oxxius was a finalist for the Trophées Bretagne du Moci 2026, in the Innovation category, alongside RTSYS Group and STI Biotechnologie. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 9, in Saint-Malo, as part of the Forum économique Breton.

Selected by the jury among the region’s most innovative companies, Oxxius presented its lasers, which replace the gas lasers that have powered scientific instruments for 50 years.
Up to 1,000 times more compact, 1,000 times more energy-efficient, and 10 times longer-lasting, these lasers turn microscopes into nanoscopes, lay the groundwork for quantum computing and power Breton projects with Ifremer and Thalès, including high-speed communication between underwater drones.
This finalist selection comes during a period of rapid growth for the company: driven by its US commercial presence, OXXIUS’s American sales have grown from €1 million to €6 million in a single year. A €5 million funding round from Breton investors GoCapital and Épopée Gestion is fueling this momentum, with revenue expected to double within three years.
Oxxius thanks Le MOCI and the Forum Economique Breton for this recognition, as well as its entire team, whose expertise drives this wave of Breton innovation.
