What ISO 9001 Certification Means

ISO 9001 is an internationally recognized standard that certifies the implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS) covering all aspects of a company’s operations, from product design and manufacturing to delivery, after-sales support and continuous improvement processes.

For a laser manufacturer like Oxxius, ISO 9001 certification provides customers and partners with a formal guarantee that every laser product we ship has been designed, tested and delivered according to a rigorously controlled set of processes, regardless of order volume, product complexity or delivery destination.

Oxxius had previously earned ISO 9001 certification and chose to renew the process as the company scaled its operations. The renewal was an opportunity to restructure and formalize internal workflows across all departments: from R&D and production to quality control, logistics and customer support. The certification process, conducted by AFNOR, involved an in-depth audit of our quality management system, covering process documentation, traceability, non-conformity management and customer feedback mechanisms. Every team at Oxxius contributed to this effort.
