Oxxius has developed a unique, proprietary monolithic resonator technology that lies at the heart of our DPSS lasers. Protected by more than ten patents, this alignment-free architecture offers a combination of performance and reliability unmatched in its class.
Oxxius patented technology: Monolithic DPSS Laser

This technology delivers:
- Exceptional robustness: a glue-less, solid-state construction with no moving parts, designed to withstand wide thermal and mechanical variations.
- High beam quality: delivering diffraction-limited performance for the most demanding imaging applications.
- Ultra-low heat emission: a compact, high-efficiency cavity that minimizes thermal load.
The entire cavity is formed as a single, ultra-low-loss optical subsystem through optical contacting, a process in which the end faces of the crystals bond naturally at the molecular level. This creates a permanent, exceptionally stable interface that is immune to temperature fluctuations and resistant to mechanical vibrations. Dielectric mirrors deposited directly onto the crystal facets complete the monolithic assembly.
Single longitudinal mode (SLM) lasers built on this technology are compact, energy-efficient, and exhibit outstanding wavelength stability:
- No measurable drift with temperature variations
- No measurable shift between power cycles
