Oxxius has presented at the Photonics West 2007 exhibition a prototype of world's first continuous-wave solid-state 355nm laser.

This breakthrough has been achieved by taking the AMR technology one step further and designing a diode-pumped laser architecture using intracavity frequency-tripling.

This innovation will enable a whole new set of applications, for example in biosciences (cell sorting, cancer research) and in the semiconductor industry (quality control and imaging).

Oxxius will bring to market a commercial product based on a technical platform leveraging this groundbreaking laser design in a few months timeframe.
